Before I made those silly mistakes, mother trusted me all the time.She regarded me as an honest kid. But I could never own her trust any more. How I regretted having lied to her!

Here was one of the stupid mistakes I‘ve made. I failed in a math exam, but I lied to mother that I got a good mark. She believed me at first, but several days later she got the truth from my teacher‘s mouth. I made several similar mistakes since then. Mother told me that it doesn‘t matter to make mistakes, but it is really important to admit and correct mistakes.

I swore to correct my bad deeds.But it seems that mother will never trust me as before. How I wish mother could trust me again!

Today is my mothers birthday. My father and I wanted to give her surprising birthday presents.

In the morning we went to the shop and bought a big cake. Then we went to the market and bought some food that mother liked very much. After getting home, we began to prepare our presents. Father went into the kitchen to prepare a big meal while I went into my room to make a birthday card. I drew three rabbits biggest one was eating grass while the other two were playing happily under a big tree. To tell you the truth, it was my family because all of us were born in the year of rabbit.It was almost 12 oclock. The delicious food on the table made my mouth water. Everything was ready. We seated ourselves at the table, waiting for my mother. When we heardthe sound of opening the door, we hid behind the door and cheered, "Happy Birthday!" as soon as mother came in.Mother was seated at the table and I showed her my present. She looked at it and smiled. "Have a taste of the delicious food. It was made by Father himself."I said. Mother looked at my father and me, picking up her chopsticks.

A little boy invited his mother to attend his elementaryschool’sfirst teacher-parent conference. To the little boy sdismay, shesaid she would go.

This would be the first time that hisclassmatesand teacher met his mother and he was embarrassed byherappearance.

Although she was a beautiful woman, there was aseverescar that covered nearly the entire center side of her face.The boynever wanted to talk about why or how she got the scar.

At the conference, the people were impressed by the kindnessandnatural beauty of his mother despite the scar, but the littleboywas still embarrassed and hid himself from everyone. Hedid,however, get within earshot of a conversation between hismotherand his teacher, and heard them speaking.

How did you get the scar on your face? the teacher asked.
