my great pleasure to share my dream with you today。 my dream is to become ateacher.

As the whole world has its boundaries， limits and freedom coexist in ourlife。 I don’t expect complete freedom， which is impossible。 I simply have adream that supports my life。

I dream that one day， I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooksand lead my own life。 With my favorite fictions， I lie freely on the greengrass， smelling the spring， listening to the wind singing， breathing the freshand cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last。 Simple and short enjoymentcan bring me great satisfaction。

I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic andcartoon away。 They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happinesswith us while watching cartoon or doing personal things。 That’s the realcommunication of heart to heart。

I have the belief that my dreams should come true。 I am looking forward tosome day coming when I am like a proud eagle， which flies to the blue and vastsky。

When I was a naughty boy， may be because of theinfluence of the film。"XiaoBing Zhang Ga"，my dreamwas to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga。 I thought if Iwasa soldier， I should be able to swim， dive andclimb trees as he did。 It seemed tobe verywonderful。 So I began to learn swimming， diving andclimbing trees。 Ipracticed every day and finally Icould do them well。 But when I entered juniorhighschool and had the military training。 I suddenlyfound that being a soldierwas very difficult and Iwasn't strong enough to bear it 。 I had to give mydreamup。

But I wasn't discouraged， and I had new aim， which was to be a postman， orrather to bea newspaper boy。 As a newspaper boy。 I could speed along streets ona bike and thrownewspapers onto every porch。 That's also very cool。 So I startedlearning to ride a bicycle。After the everyday practice， I could go very fast bybicycle。 But to my disappointment， the jobwhich I wanted only existed in westerncounties not in China， because there was no porch inChina。 And Chinese postmenhad to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes fromvery narrowentrances。 The job was far from what I had expected。 So once again my dreamfellthrough。

Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreamshaven't cometrue yet。 But I think it doesn't matter， because if you have adream， you'll make many effortsto realize it。 This course is reallly important。If I hadn't dreamt of being a soldier or anewspaper boy。 I wouldn't have learnedto swim， to dive， to climb trees or to ride a bicycle。Even if our dream can'tcome true， you'll learn much from the efforts you have made。 Sowhat I want totell us is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control ourlives。 It is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful。

I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted， every hill andmountain shall be made low， the rough places will be made plain， and the crookedplaces will be made straight， and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed， andall flesh shall see it together。

Wow， what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King。 But the changingworld seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow inthe process of growing up， and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbyeunconsciously to those distant childhood dreams。

However， we meed dreams。 They nourish our spirit; they representpossibility even when we are dragged down by reality。 They keep us going。 Mostsuccessful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid tothink big and dare to be great。 When we were little kids， we all dreamed ofdoing something big and splashy， something significant。 Now what we need to dois to maintain them， refresh them and turn them into reality。 However， thetoughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams intoactions。 Well， just start with concrete objectives and stick to it。 Don’t letthe nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future。Through our talents， through our wits， through our endurance and through ourcreativity， we will make it。

Hold fast to dreams， for if dreams die， life is a broken—winged bird thatcannot fly。 Hold fast to dreams， for when dreams go， life is a barren fieldfrozen with snow。 So my dear friends， think of your old and maybe dead dreams。Whatever it is， pick it up and make it alive from today。
