My winter vocation Winter holidays are coming. I am going to get up verylate at about half past nine because I feel litter tired. now I am onvacation.

I don’t have to go to school. How wonderful ! During this vacation I can dolots of interesting things. For example, I am going to play basketball ,computer games and some other games. But of course, I must always remember thatI am still a student .

I am going to read a lot of books and finish my homework On New Year’s Eve, my family will gather together eating , talking and watching TV for almost thewhole night . And there is going to be some interesting programmers on TV .

I think I am going to be very happy in this winter holiday.

This winter holiday, I went to Kunming with my family. Kunming is a very beautiful city, I think. The sky is blue and the air is clean.

You can see many kinds of nice flowers everywhere. The weather there is great. It′s never too hot or too cold all the year round, so people always call it "Spring City".

Kunming is surrounded by beautiful scenery. And one of the most famous views is "The Stone Forest". It is really scenic.

We just stayed in Kunming for six days, but I felt very happy, and I like Kunming very much.

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new yearand other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometownin the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, sothat I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this smallvillage in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV setand some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built orrebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on anentirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries anymore.

寒假期间，因为春节和其他原因我很开心。假期期间，我父母和我回到河北的乡下老家。我已经好几年没回去了，所以看到过去这些年这座小村庄发生的巨大变化我感到很惊讶。几乎村里的每一户人家都有彩电，有的还有了电脑。很多家庭都有了新建的或重建的房子。以前，老式瓦房随处可见，但是现在它们看上去完全是一幅新的景象。摩托车或者甚至是私家车也已不再是奢侈品了。

One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers weregoing to join a tour and travel abroad. Previously, the villagers were busy intheir farm work all the year round, but now they have much more time and moneyto relax or entertain. Traveling has become a new trend among villagers. Seeingthese amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown assoon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.
